Round one was extremely successful for Souths. The women

determination and skill on the pitch. The men continued the winning

ways beating Shamrocks 2-21 to 0-7 demonstrating the type of play

that the lads have been training for each week.

This weeks Finn McCool's Player of the Match was Paul O'Reily for

demonstrating the type of play the managers wanted to see and for

never wasting a ball.

Carpenter Cup

Sunday was a great day out and the two Souths sides had a productive day. The ladies fought a tough game and went down by 2 points against Harps before a dominant display against Shamrocks.  The men's team had 2 tough games against Easts and Shamrocks and won both games progressing to the final. Unfortunately, Harps showed a dominant display and even though Souths fought hard Harps took the cup. It was a fun day for the club to get together and both teams showed great progress and are looking forward to the season ahead.
